The Olivia A-Line Ruffle Skirt

I recently had the pleasure of testing a new pattern for Tatjana Grace

The owner, Kim, sells children’s clothing and PDF sewing patterns.  I tested her pattern for the Olivia A-Line Ruffle Skirt.

If you are fairly new to sewing, you can make this skirt!  Kim does a fantastic job of not only telling you how to prepare the fabric, but also giving detailed step-by-step instructions with clear pictures.

For this skirt, I chose some Cars fabric I had in my stash. I love making little girls clothes in themes you can’t find in the stores. This is one of the reasons I love sewing so much!

Although this skirt took a while to put together (that’s the way with ruffles!), it was well worth the time.

You can find this great pattern and more at Tatjana Grace on Etsy.

Love it? This skirt will be making an appearance in my shop sometime this week.
